Brymore House Nursing Home London - The Home
When people have worked hard throughout their life and have been committed to helping others, we think they deserve extra cherishing. They need a Home where individuality is emphasised, with staff who have time to give attention to small detail and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded persons.
Brymore House Nursing Home London is located on a main residential road just 5 minutes walking distance from Grove Park railway station and the local shops. The House is a large Edwardian detached property with its own drive and attractive enclosed gardens and patios at the rear of the house.
We are a 53 bedded home housing two separate units: Elderly Frail Nursing Unit and Intermediate Care Unit. Both units have their own spacious lounges and sitting areas, kitchen facilities and en suite bedrooms.
The Nursing unit is 31 bedded providing Nursing care, Residential care and Palliative/Continuing Care for Service Users who have complex medical conditions.
The Intermediate Care Unit is now 22 bedded. Brymore House staff work alongside the Social Workers, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists from Lewisham Intermediate Care Team to provide care for Service Users who are requiring rehabilitation before returning to live safely at home
On the Nursing Unit, referrals will be taken from a variety of sources including Social Services, GP’s, hospitals, transfers from other homes and direct for those who are self-funding.
On the Intermediate Care Unit, all Service Users are assessed by an Assessment Team in the local hospital and Nurse Specialist in Lewisham LINC Team / Community before being admitted to Brymore House for rehabilitation. Individual Care Plans and Risk Assessment will be completed by Therapists and Nursing staff after admission.
Visitors are warmly welcomed by Staff at Brymore House at any time during our flexible visiting times. In addition to bedrooms, there is a quiet area for residents to meet with relatives, friends or significant others. Children are welcome, provided they are with a responsible adult.
Intermediate Care Unit has specific visiting time which is 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm due to rehabilitation programs are taken place at specific time every day.
